There is a time and place for everything. What you do matters

I enjoy coming to Full Sail University. It is my favorite place in the world, next to the library – makes me sound like a geek, but I really enjoy it. (Turns out, my honey likes that I am a geek). And I say it is my favorite place because this is where my dreams came true. I have had this dream since I was 15, and I was not able to accomplish them until I came here.
I see my coming to Full Sail University as an opportunity to me. An opportunity for me make something of myself. Not many schools turn out to be like this one, I mean, not every school focuses on creativity.
From my understanding, the reason why Full Sail University does not work like traditional universities, is that the classes prepare the student for real outside work. Its like a 9 – 5 before starting a 9-5, therefore making a 9-5 easy for the student when faced with real life work situations. Also, a good amount of dedication is required to ensure that not only does student is a good grade A but the student has understanding on what they are going to school for.The University also builds your morale, and your work ethics again, thus preparing you for who you ought to be in your career.
Time management is a big ordeal. Organize yourself properly and you’d do well in all your classes. One thing at a time, do not try jumbling things at the same time, especially if you’re just learning or starting school. Take time to understand what you are doing before switching boards. I love that the school takes a class a month because that helps the student learn and grow better. Owning a calendar is a big step with organization. Reflecting on work, before classes start is a great idea to refresh memories, and after classes is over to sustain knowledge.
Motivate yourself. The most important thing to do is to succeed. Awards/Benefits get students going. GPS: Global Professionalism Standards boost up the GPA, and enable students to be valedictorian of the year and also great recommendation from career Development Program. A high GPS puts the spotlight on you.
