IfeOluwa’s Educational Journal
Hey there !
My name is IfeOluwa Omolara. I am the first of many kind, original and true to myself. I see myself as what I describe as a “Positive Paulie” – The name says it all.
This journal is a summary of my 12 months stay while I was at Full Sail University. This journals states the lessons learned, and how they are applicable to my career. If you are interested in the Entertainment Business Master’s Program, you will find this journal extremely helpful, as it would prepare you for what to expect, and if you just want to know about my Full Sail Experience, I hope this inspires you to chase whatever goals you want, and turn them to reality.
And now, join me as I re-live my glory days…
I am a student of Full Sail University, working to get a Master’s degree in Entertainment Business. I just began my studies here started at the school (January 2020 is my first month), and as I go on, I hope to be successful through out the whole year and achieve nothing, but the best from this degree.
Don’t be sad, because SAD spelled backwards is DAS, and DAS NOT GOOD !

As part of my Full Sail Experience, it is a part of the school curriculum to take a class called “Mastery: Personal Development and Leadership.” I think it is a great idea, that we began with this class because this class helped me reinvent myself and what I envision for my career. Within the time in this class, I have been able to discover myself all over again, develop and grow within the educational environment. (It had been a while I had been within the education system post bachelors).
For example, with this class, I have been able to attend networking events which have helped me make valuable connections within the school that would help me within the career field I am very much interested in – Entertainment Business.

This bible passage is my one of my favorite quotes. I like this quote because it keeps me going everyday. I may be feeling bad about a situation, or be feeling confused with no idea on how to move on, and or my day could be the best ever. I remember this quote and I stay motivated. This quote helps me move through life with confidence, even when I do not know what the next day holds. In all that I do, I remember God, because He is first, my Creator. He gave me a purpose, which gives me essence to live and He is the only one who has been there for me at all times. And, I am very grateful for having and knowing Him in my life.
As part of this class, it is required of me to update this mastery journal, with certain things needed to be uploaded. But before I go on, I would like to admit how much I ENJOY this journaling idea. I can come up here and just say how I feel and be as transparent as I can with the classes and the school, and I hope to keep this practice going – even when I get famous. This, is also a very therapeutic activity for me, because I have so much in my head, I need to air out sometimes, and this is one great opportunity to do so.
As I was saying as a part of this class, I have to upload certain things as part of my grade, and I will, because I would love to get the best grades possible. (I really hope my style of journalling doesn’t affect it, because I would love to be real as much as I can)

This is a screenshot of my Feedly account. Never have I know that much about Feedly, but I think it is a great practice to inculcate. I also did not know about this website called “GetInMedia.com” but the website is enriching ! I was able to narrow down my career path with that link, and it helped me greatly on knowing what to focus on, on my 12 months of my Master’s degree. I hope to read as much as I can and be very much grounded in my career field as I pick up new habits .

This is a copy my LinkedIn Homepage. Right now, I am not seeking any jobs. My main focus is my education. I have a whole year to do it, I would love to do it good, and would also love to do it whole heartedly. Also, the school does not advice that it be a good idea to get a job while the education is going.
This is my journal entry for this day, January 23rd 2020. Like I said, I would try to pick up this habit as much as I can.
p.s: January 23rd is James’ birthday. Do not forget to wish him a happy birthday. He’d love it. @Motivation_Junkiee on IG
